Axiom Contractors has been awarded a Design and Build contract to provide a new lift within a secondary stair of a 4 storey listed building.

The project consists of the construction of a new lift shaft and pit within the well of an existing staircase including all new services and finishes, and thereafter the installation of a new lift serving the basement and all upper floors.  With the works being carried out in a fully occupied office with restricted access from a street lightwell a contract duration of 23 weeks has been agreed.
