Hugh Dixon

Hugh has recently joined the board of Axiom Contractors Ltd as a non-executive director having been involved in the construction and development sector since 1980 when he formed Clarendon Properties Ltd.

Clarendon Properties Ltd specialised in the restoration and conversion of important listed buildings as a result of which many grade 1 and 2* buildings were saved and now have a new life.  The company also carried out extensive new construction projects in many areas of Southern England.

In 1993 Hugh founded a golf course development company that owned and operated nine golf courses throughout the U.K.  The company was floated in 1997, Golf Club Holdings Plc, on the AIM sector of the London Stock Exchange.

Prior to his involvement in property and golf, Hugh was a director and also Chief Executive of two listed public companies who were involved in the food and allied industries.

Hugh is also a non-executive director of Synergix Ltd and Codegate Ltd.  These companies operate in the electronics sector.
